Project management software
From agency software to a customised solution: my first major project at ISCOPE
One of my first major projects at ISCOPE was the implementation of project management software for one of our clients. The system was based on our in-house agency software and was customised and expanded to meet the client’s specific requirements.
My task included the visual design of the software, in which I placed particular emphasis on a user-friendly interface. I specifically reduced content to provide a quick overview of tasks and projects. This enabled the customer to manage projects more efficiently and integrate the software optimally into their day-to-day work.
One highlight of the project was the design and development of a new, clear room booking planner. This enabled the customer to book rooms and resources easily and flexibly – an important component for smooth organisation within the company.
This project not only showed me how important a customised solution is, but also how crucial good user guidance is for the success of a software.

Smart workplace management: Seat and meeting room booking software
Due to the current mix of office and home office work, many companies are faced with the challenge of managing their workplaces more efficiently and saving costs at the same time. Our room booking planner has been specially designed to meet this need: Every desk in the company can be booked flexibly for a specific period of time. Individual requirements such as monitor size, ergonomic equipment or special software can be easily stored.
The planner also offers the option of reserving meeting rooms. This creates a centralised system for the flexible use of all workstations. The room booking planner has been developed to integrate seamlessly into the company’s existing system. An integrated map clearly displays the office spaces so that employees can make their bookings quickly and intuitively – without any time-consuming training or long familiarisation periods.

Clickable prototype based on the existing wireframe in Adobe XD
When I took over the project, an initial wireframe was already available in Adobe XD. As the client was already familiar with the tool and had become accustomed to the structure, the project was consistently continued in XD. Building on the existing framework, I refined the design, optimized the user guidance and created clickable prototypes to enable a realistic preview of the application.
